A girl's left foot was trapped at the side of an escalator at Sengkang Grand Mall on Feb 22 evening.
A video of the child stuck on the steps with a woman accompanying her was posted online.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at 70 Compassvale Bow, the address of the mall, at about 6.50pm.
SCDF released the child's foot using rescue equipment and took her to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
A week earlier, a girl's sandal got stuck in an escalator at Thomson Plaza on Feb 15.
Her father quickly undid the sandal straps and picked her up. She was shaken but unharmed.
