Local company treats staff, including foreign workers, to an epic trip on a tropical paradise
Despite the slowdown in the economy, local company Office Empire Pte Ltd is not holding back when it comes to employee welfare.
According to Office Manager Rachel Tan, all their staff, including the foreign workers, are treated to a company trip annually.
This year, to celebrate their 10-year anniversary, the company sponsored a trip for all 28 staff to Bali from Feb 18 to 21.
They have previously gone to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands and on a cruise to Malacca.
Rachel said:
"We have staff of different nationalities such as Singapore, Thailand, Bangladesh, India and Philippines.
"We usually sign up for a tour and the highlight of the trip is our D&D, usually held on the first or second night.
"During our D&D, we have an awards presentation, play games and conduct a lucky draw.
"We want to show Singapore that it is possible to get such fun top management down to the workers."
