This beautiful 'library hotel' in Japan is every book lover's dream

Book and Bed is a bookstore-themed hostel in Japan, where you can sleep in the bookshelves themselves.

There are currently two locations -- one in Tokyo and one in Kyoto - and the prices start from 4,800 yen (S$60) for one night in a cosy bookshelf compartment.

What is even more incredible is that there are 5,000 Japanese and English books to choose from.

Visitors can also choose to stop by for a quiet read, at a small fee, instead of staying the night.

However, if you are truly a bookworm, you would probably enjoy curling up with a novel in comfort, surrounded with silence and even more books.
