Another bus accident? Bus rams into 5 cars on Malaysia's Federal Highway

Remember the Choa Chu Kang bus accident yesterday? Turns out there was another bus accident along Malaysia's Federal Highway too.

A bus rammed into the back of five cars during a traffic jam, causing a six vehicle pile up onthe Federal Highway.

The incident took place at 4.45pm on Sunday (Jan 8), when the driver of a Rapid KL bus lost control and crashed into the cars, braking in front of him at KM5.4 of the highway.

City Traffic chief Asst Comm Mohd Nadzri Hussain told The Star that the bus's momentum was the cause of the major crash.

"Fortunately no one was injured," said Mohd Nazri Hussain.

Police investigations are currently ongoing.
