Foodpanda rider blocks Stomper from reversing into parking lot and refuses to budge, then bangs on his car
A driver lodged a police report against a motorcyclist following a parking dispute at Upper Boon Keng Road.
Stomper Rajoo shared videos of the "road rage incident" that occurred on May 1, at around 12.06pm.
The motorcyclist can be seen wearing a Foodpanda delivery jacket and carrying a Foodpanda delivery box on his bike. He also had a pillion rider with him.
Rajoo recounted: "I was slowly moving forward while looking for a parking spot. When I saw a car exiting a parking lot through my rearview mirror, I turned on my hazard lights to signal my intention to park.
"At that moment, a Foodpanda rider had already positioned himself behind my car. I began to reverse slightly to indicate my intention to park, but he refused to move and continued blocking the way, obstructing traffic.
"Based on the video footage, it is clear that he was insisting I move forward. It appears he tailgated me and intentionally blocked my vehicle to prevent me from reversing into the lot.
"Despite repeated honking, he refused to move, causing a traffic jam.
"After other drivers began honking, he finally moved, but not before angrily banging my car twice."
In the videos, the motorcyclist can be seen behind Rajoo's vehicle and refusing to move despite the presence of other motorists.
The motorcyclist then gestures wildly several times before riding off.
Two thumps, presumably the motorcyclist hitting Rajoo's car, can be heard, followed by shouts of 'Oi!'
Rajoo, who lodged a police report on the same day, told Stomp: "Such behaviour is unacceptable, dangerous and making trouble publicly."
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirm a report was lodged.
