Ferocious otters chase off monitor lizard in epic battle at Punggol Waterway Park

Stomper Hwa Sin was at the Punggol Waterway Park yesterday (Feb 12) morning at 9am when he saw three otters chasing after a monitor lizard.
Said the Stomper:
"At first I thought the lizard was a small crocodile but as it swam closer, I realised that it was a lizard that was trying to fend off three otters that were chasing and biting its tail."
He took a video of the incident and sent it to Stomp.
In the video, the three otters could be seen engaging the lizard in a water chase as the lizard struggle to rid itself of the otters.
