Female scooter rider caught ruthlessly running over helpless child's legs in China

A video showing a woman deliberately riding her scooter over the legs of an injured child has gone viral on Chinese social media.
In the 40-second clip, a young girl is seen dragging the 'victim' away from the scooter, while the woman yells at the kids and then moves her scooter forward -- running over the legs of the crying child who is reportedly only 5-years-old.
According to a report by Shanghaiist, the incident took place in Guangdong city, Yangjiang.
The video was uploaded on Monday (Jan 2).
The woman has since been taken into custody, and further police investigations are ongoing.
