Duo allegedly attack man with brick in Geylang, leaving him with multiple face fractures

Two men, aged 21 and 22, have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a 43-year-old man with a brick.
The police said in a statement that they were alerted to the case at Lorong 21 Geylang on Feb 4 at about 9am.
The 43-year-old man was found with multiple fractures on his face and abrasions on his body.
He was subsequently taken to Changi General Hospital and the brick was seized as a case exhibit.
Officers identified the men and arrested them within 11 hours.
They will be charged in court on Feb 6 with the offence of voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous means with common intention.
If found guilty, the duo can be jailed for up to 15 years and fined. They can also be caned.
