Stomper Danny was driving along the SLE/CTE expressway on Saturday (Jan 28) morning at around 11am when he spotted the neighbouring car, SGX4591A, travelling with a faded license plate.

Said the Stomper:

"I have been seeing many cars on the roads like that. My guess is that they may be being tampered by the drivers to avoid being shot by traffic cameras should they be caught speeding?

"I hope for the authorities will be able to look in to this matter.

Vehicle owners whose vehicles are found with improper licence plates face a maximum Court fine of $1,000 or three months' imprisonment upon conviction in Court.
