Driver hogs rightmost lane and refuses to give way to ambulance on CTE

A driver was caught on camera refusing to give way to an ambulance along the Central Expressway (CTE) on April 25.

The Toyota Alphard driver can be seen hogging the rightmost lane and not budging despite the ambulance's siren and beams.

The ambulance ended up moving to another lane instead.

Stomper Hudz, a passenger in a passing vehicle, witnessed the incident at around 1.09pm.

Hudz, who shared a video with Stomp, said: "Despite the emergency vehicle beaming at the Alphard driver and flashing a quick siren to alert him, he did not even bother to give way.

"Driver SMZ8430Z, please stop your self-entitled and selfish attitude. This is not acceptable. We don't deserve you."
