Driver and passenger, both 74, taken to hospital after their car flips on side in collision near airport
A man and a woman were taken to the hospital after their car flipped on its side in an accident near Changi Airport on the evening of Aug 20.
Stomper Lindy shared a video of the accident that was circulating online.
The dashcam footage shows the cam car on T4 Way approaching the junction with T4 Boulevard with the traffic light in the cam car's favour.
A grey Volkwagen Golf in the lane on the left of the cam car overtook the latter and crashed into the left side of a red car coming from T4 Boulevard on the right.
The impact lifted the red car and it eventually landed on its right side.
The male driver of the Volkswagen got out of his car and appeared unhurt.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident involving three cars at about 6pm.
A male car driver, 74, was conscious when taken to the hospital, but his female passenger, also 74, was unconscious.
Police investigations are ongoing.
