Rescued pup gets $6,000 birthday bash with 100 guests and cake made of meat at VivoCity
This birthday party was straight out of a fairy tale with wonderland-themed decor and guests dressed up in costumes.
At the heart of it all sat a birthday cake - not your typical sweet treat, but a one-of-a-kind creation made entirely of meat, crafted especially for the birthday boy: Bailey, a rescued puppy.
The bichon frise was thrown a $6,000 birthday party for her fourth birthday on June 29, dubbed "Bailey in Wonderland".
The magical party took place at Surrey Hills Grocer in VivoCity. It wasn't just a birthday celebration - it was a tribute to the dog's "ruff" life journey.
Bailey's owner, Stomper Rosemarry, said: "As a puppy, Bailey accidentally swallowed a cigarette butt, which led to serious digestive issues and suspected Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
"Rejected by multiple owners, he was eventually adopted by our family and has since flourished under careful care, a managed diet, and a lot of love."
Sixty guests and 40 pets attended the festivities.
Bailey's fur friends were spoiled with custom pet meals by local pet food brand Bom Bom, and hand-crafted charms by local pet accessory brand Awoofi.
Rosemarry told Stomp: "Bailey's journey is a reminder that love, patience, and care can truly change lives."
