Do these boys know that it is illegal to fish at Jubilee Bridge?

Three boys were spotted fishing illegally at Jubilee Bridge yesterday (Jan 21) at around 12pm.

The Stomper, who wished to remain anonymous, said that they had already cast their lures into the water before she took the photo.

She added, "I saw a sign there saying it is illegal to fish."

According to the Public Utilities Board's (PUB) website, it is illegal to fish outside of designated waterways and reservoirs.

PUB encourages people to fish only at designated areas and use artificial baits at reservoirs.

Those who violate fishing regulations may be fined up to $3,000.
