Diner put off by rows of uncleared tables and unlit premises at Satay by the Bay
Stomper Jazwany was disappointed by what she saw at Satay By the Bay in Marina Bay on Mar 4 at around 11pm.
In a email to Stomp, she said that utensils on many tables at the dining establishment were left uncleared. She also mentioned that some diners were eating in the dark at the outdoor area.
Photos the Stomper sent show plates, bowls and cups on tables at the outdoor and indoor areas of Gardens By the Bay.
Said the Stomper with regard to what she saw:
"This was my first time here.
"I was shocked to see the tables with uncleared plates.
"It was really bad. It was supposed to be a relaxing place with nice ambience."
"Further more the outdoor area was SO dark when there were people eating there.
According to the Gardens by the Bay website, food stalls at Satay by the Bay are open daily from 11am to 10pm, while the drink stall operates for 24 hours.
