Did someone just cover the stairs of a HDB block with gold foil?

This was the question posed by one baffled Reddit user yesterday (Mar 6) when they found that the stairs outside their house had been covered by gold foil.

While it is unclear where the stairs are located, the Reddit user said they were on the 21st floor of the block.

Subsequent comments on the Reddit post linked to a Facebook user who claimed that she was the one who covered the stairs with foil. Her reasons for doing so are unknown.
