Delivery guy helped pay for customer's whisky and Coke, still can't get his $53.53 back after a month
No good deed goes unpunished?
A delivery guy was talked into paying for a customer's order and now can't get his money back.
Stomper MX has even resorted to posting a photo of the customer's identity card (IC) online.
The customer had ordered a Grant's Triple Wood Whisky and a 1.5-litre bottle of coke from the Ang Mo Kio PandaMart on Feb 23.
"It was a cash payment of $53.53 and this guy wanted to pay me through PayNow, but PayNow was under maintenance," recounted the Stomper.
"I wanted to cancel the order since he couldn't pay me, but he offered to give me his IC so I could I take a photo of it and pay me after the maintenance was done.

"But after the maintenance, this guy started giving me all kinds of excuses."
The Stomper shared screenshots of his WhatsApp convo with the customer, who claimed the payment was supposed to be shared among his friends, but they were not replying to him.

The Stomper gave the customer the benefit of a doubt at first.
"But he is seriously getting on my nerves every time he doesn't reply to my messages or answer my calls, trying to act blur with me, thinking that I would just forget about it," said the Stomper.

"Please lah, I'm not even your friend and I'm already nice enough to give you so much time, but you still didn't want to pay me and waste my time every day asking you for money."
After three weeks, the Stomper had enough.

He said: "Now I'm not going to ask you any more, but I will make you famous."
"Don't come and give me all your sad story to earn pity points because I'm also not doing well. These few months are the lowest point in my life now. That is why your story don't work with me now."
In another social media post on March 23, the Stomper posted photos of the customer and wrote: "If anyone know him, please let him know a police report had been made against him and I will just keep posting about this to ruin his reputation unless he pay."
