A group of youths were caught on camera riding their bicycles recklessly in Chinatown on Nov 1 at about 6.38pm.

Stomper Lee alerted Stomp to footage of the incident posted on ROADS.sg's Facebook page.

It has since garnered over 100,000 views.

In the video, four young cyclists are seen riding along Upper Pickering Street amidst traffic without wearing helmets.

At one point, one of them makes a sudden lane change, causing an Audi to brake abruptly.

The cyclists are seen flouting some cycling rules.

According to the Land Transport Authority, all cyclists must:

  • Wear a helmet when cycling on roads
  • Always ride as close as predictable to the far left of roads, and allow traffic to overtake you safely.
