Cyclist injured after falling off bike while riding on slippery road in Toa Payoh

Stomper Joyce saw a cyclist lying injured on the road after an accident in front of Block 205, Toa Payoh North this morning (July 21) at about 7.50am.

According to her, the man had fallen off his bicycle due to the slippery road caused by wet weather today.

Joyce said:

"A cyclist fell on the slippery road.

"This happened just this morning at about 7.50 am, in front of Block 205 Toa Payoh North, near Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).

"I think the guy is bleeding at the back of his head as they were trying to lift him up to put him at the road side."

A spokesperson for the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that they were alerted to the incident at about 7.55am and dispatched one ambulance.

A man was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
