It was supposed to be a fun outing for a man and his two brothers.

But the trio were unable to properly enjoy watching a movie at Shaw Theatres, no thanks to a man and a woman who kept talking in the cinema.

Stomper D said the incident happened at Waterway Point on Feb 26, during an 8.30pm screening of Legends of the Condor Heroes: The Gallants.

The film has a runtime of 147 minutes.

He told Stomp: "This couple was speaking in Cantonese throughout the 2.5-hour movie and showed total disregard for people around them.

"I first turned around and looked at them, hoping they would get the hint, but they continued chatting anyway.

"After a while, I turned around to ask them to stop talking. They didn't even look at me, totally ignored my presence and continued talking.

"That was when I took out my camera to take a photo of them, hoping this would serve to warn them. They saw me take a picture of them, but they just looked away and continued to ignore me."

The Stomper said he eventually "gave up and just had to bear with it" throughout the movie.

He added: "After the movie ended, I stood up and turned around to scold him, but same thing, the guy just looked at the screen and ignored my presence (the lady had left, presumably to the toilet)."
