It's not the first time and it won't be the last.

Someone complained about a resident leaving clutter in the corridor of Housing Board block.

Stomper Joshua shared photos of a laundry rack, a bicycle and a pile of junk in the common area of the second storey at Block 158 Yishun Street 11.

"Is this resident hoarding in the corridor?" wondered the Stomper.

"The town council is not firm on keeping the corridors cleared, so the neighbour protested."

In response to a Stomp query, a Nee Soon Town Council spokesperson said the town council is aware of the issue.

"The cluttering habit is a social issue and difficult to resolve because the underlying causes are complex," said the spokesperson.

"The town council is engaging the resident. We have highlighted to the resident the potential safety and fire hazards that may occur when common corridors are obstructed.

"We seek residents’ understanding while we work with the resident to remove the clutter."
