A circulated message of a gang fight that resulted in two deaths at Lorong 9 Geylang on Friday night (Nov 22) is fake.
Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the message that was circulating on WhatsApp.
Here's what the message looks like:
The message comes with an audio recording of a man speaking in Hokkien.
He says: "Don't go to Geylang, people are fighting and it's very violent.
"Roads are closed and the traffic jam is very bad."
Stomp understands that there weren't any fights at Lorong 9 Geylang on Nov 22.
