Chinese tourists snatch helpless birds from the skies and clutch onto them for photos
Photos showing several tourists manhandling Kunming's signature gulls just to snap the perfect picture have sparked outrage online.
According to Shanghaiist, the incident first started with one man snatching a bird from the sky. No one stopped him.
The man then got a stranger to help him take pictures as he grinned into the camera while clutching the helpless animal.
Another group of tourists were later seen catching hold of another gull.
Even though onlookers tried to stop them, one man reportedly blew them off by saying, "I'm just going to take this one picture and that's all, I won't catch any more."
Netizens have reacted in anger after seeing the photos online and one commented, "I hope he gets bird flu."
