Cement truck overturns in Chinatown, driver taken to hospital
A cement truck overturned in Chinatown in the early evening of July 19.
A Stomper shared a video showing the vehicle lying on its side without its front windshield. Traffic Police were at the scene.
Other videos of the accident's aftermath were also posted online.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at 5pm to the accident at Eu Tong Seng Street towards Hill Street.
The cement truck was believed to have self-skidded, added police.
The male driver, 52, was conscious when taken to the hospital.
He is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
