Caught in jam on TPE last night? This accident might be the cause
Stomper Jimmy was driving along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) last night (Apr 6) when he witnessed the aftermath of an accident involving eight vehicles.
In the video the Stomper contributed, a damaged blue taxi can be seen smashed against the rear of a red taxi.
Said the Stomper:
"I’m not sure what happened, but the rear of the blue taxi looked badly damaged too.
"Parts of the blue taxi were scattered beneath it.
"It was also strange that there were so many cars on the road shoulder with hazard lights on."
The Stomper added that there was a jam along the TPE, and he was stuck in traffic for around 25 minutes.
A police spokesperson told Stomp:
"On 6th April 2017, at 8.50pm, the police were alerted to an accident involving four cars, three taxis and one lorry along TPE towards Seletar Expressway.
No injuries were reported. Police investigations are ongoing."
