Car ends up in drain after skidding in Ang Mo Kio, 76-year-old driver taken to hospital
A 76-year-old driver was taken to hospital after his car skidded in Ang Mo Kio on Jan 13.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car, which was believed to have self-skidded, at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Street 52 and Ang Mo Kio Street 51 at 4.40pm.
The elderly driver was conscious when taken to hospital.
A photo submitted by Stomper Bel shows the car having plunged into a drain near Block 578. The car had also knocked down an electrical box.
Police officers can be spotted at the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
