Car decked out in flashing lights along Scotts Road is perfect for Christmas -- but is it legal?
Just because it's pretty, doesn't mean it's safe.
A car was seen adorned in flashing rainbow lights along Scotts Road on Dec 24, just before midnight.
Although the decoration seems perfect for the festive season, Stomper WolfMan has safety concerns.
The Stomper, who shared a video of the car's bling, said: "I feel that this is a road hazard. The lights are so glaring for other road users. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) should be notified."
According to LTA's website, vehicle modifications are classified into three types:
- Modifications that do not need LTA's approval
- Modifications that need LTA's approval
- Modifications that are not allowed

Decorative lamps such as wiper washer LEDs, undercarriage neon lights, vehicle-interior neon lights and flashing decorative lights are not allowed as they may "distract and disorient other road users".
Uh-oh.
