A car crashed into a wall near a residential area at Broadrick Road on Aug 6.

A Stomper, who shared a photo of the aftermath, said he spotted police officers at the scene at about 7pm.

"I saw Traffic Police," he said. "They most likely didn't want attention, so they didn't switch on their blinkers, but it still managed to catch my attention."

In the photo, two officers can be seen inspecting the rear of a black car that had mounted the kerb and hit the wall. A woman wearing a red dress and a blue truck are also nearby.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 6.45pm.

The car is believed to have "self-skidded".

"A 74-year-old female car driver is assisting with investigations," a police spokesperson said.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
