Cabby, 73, taken to hospital and assisting with investigations after taxi overturns at Sheares Ave

A 73-year-old taxi driver was taken to hospital after an accident along Sheares Avenue towards East Coast Park on Jan 25.
The police told Stomp they were alerted to the accident, in which the taxi "was believed to have self-skidded," at around 4.40pm.
The cabby was conscious when taken to Raffles Hospital and is assisting with investigations.
A Shin Min Daily News reader said he saw an overturned taxi as well as a man who was bleeding and sitting by the roadside.
Photos he shared show the yellow taxi with its airbags deployed and its front left door open.
A ComfortDelGro spokesperson said there were four passengers in the taxi when the accident occurred, but none were injured.
Police investigations are ongoing.
