Bus driver allegedly skips stop at Telok Blangah Road, doesn't open doors for running woman
Passengers waiting for bus service 963 along Telok Blangah Road were left disappointed after the bus driver apparently failed to stop.
Stomper Diana said the driver skipped bus stop 141151 at 11:09am on June 1 even though there were several passengers waiting to board.
She recalled: "Despite clearly raising my hand to signal the bus, the driver did not stop."
"There was only one bus in front and I believe the driver assumed no one wanted to board, which is unacceptable."
Diana chased down the bus, but it was in vain.
"I ran after the bus and managed to reach it while it was stopped at the traffic light just one bus stop away," she a.dded
"However, the driver refused to open the door even though it was clear I had just been left behind. There were several other passengers at the stop, and we were all ignored."
Following a Stomp query, Tower Transit confirmed that they received a complaint about the incident.
They said: "Rest assured our relevant department will take necessary action on this matter."
