A Bukit Panjang resident was injured after he slipped and fell on the wet floor in his home allegedly due to condensation caused by neighbour's air-conditioning.

Stomper W shared a video showing the tiled floor in his Block 470 Segar Road flat glistening with water. He even went on his knees and slid on the floor to demonstrate how slippery it is.

He said: "A new owner moved in below us recently and the overuse of air-con resulted in our unit being flooded with condensed water."

The Stomper said he went to talk to his neighbour on Aug 8, but the neighbour was not cooperative.

"I told him we have lived here for more than 20 years and didn't have this issue, but he ignored me."

What makes it particularly worrying for the Stomper is that he's the only caregiver for his bedridden wife.

"It is a daily risk for me walking into the room to feed her and especially to shower her as I have to transfer her to a wheelchair. At any time, we can fall. It may result in both of us dead at home," he said.

He reported the issue via the OneService app on Aug 9 to no avail.

On Aug 15, he shared photos of his injured foot that resulted from the fall.
