Bukit Batok resident hanging stroller outside kitchen window is an accident waiting to happen
Stomper Muhammad was concerned when he saw one of his neighbours had hung a baby stroller outside their kitchen window at Block 447A Bukit Batok West Avenue 9 on Thursday morning (Feb 7).
He had noticed the stroller hanging precariously outside the fifth-storey unit at about 7am.
"I was like, 'Woah.. that's dangerous'," he said when he first saw it.
"It could fall onto anyone passing by below.
"My main concern was that it could fall onto a child as there is a childcare centre at the next block and several kids constantly walk by our block.
"It seems that the owner of the pram had washed it and was hanging it out to dry.
"Even though it is tied to something, it still poses a risk to others.
"He or she could have just left it to dry at the corridor, there's no need to hang it outside the window."
