A Bukit Batok West Avenue 8 resident had his box of new shoes stolen from his doorstep during a Singapore Post delivery on the night of May 3.

Stomper WF shared CCTV footage of the incident that took place at 9.42pm.

The video shows one man taking photos of the parcel he was delivering and of the Stomper's door.

Meanwhile, the other man took out a shoe box from a bag on the doorstep and opened the box to check out the shoes inside. He then placed the box back into the bag and picked up the bag with the shoes inside as he walked away with the first man.

The Stomper said he has made a police report and contacted SingPost.

He added: "SingPost got back, but they were not willing to divulge the delivery guys' particulars. They would wait for the police to contact them."

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and said they are looking into the matter.

A SingPost spokesperson told Stomp: "As the police investigation is ongoing, we are unable to provide additional information at this time.

"We are working closely with the authorities and fully supporting their efforts."
