Boy, 8, taken to hospital after accident in Bukit Batok: 'His scooter was crushed under car tyre'
An eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital after an accident with a car in Bukit Batok on July 23.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction of Old Jurong Road and Jalan Jurong Kechil at 4.55pm.
The young pedestrian was conscious when taken to hospital.
"A 55-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations," police added.
Stomper Ash shared a video showing someone on a stretcher being taken into an ambulance at around 5.30pm.
He told Stomp: "I saw a kids' scooter crushed under a car tyre. Praying that the child and his family are safe 🙏🏻."
Police investigations are ongoing.
