Body found floating in canal near Eu Tong Sen Street
The body of a man was found in a canal near Eu Tong Sen Street in Clarke Quay on Tuesday morning (Nov 6).
Stomper Wani was passing by the scene when she noticed the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers around the canal.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at the canal at 11.17am, where a body was found floating in the water.
The body of a man was retrieved and he was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
