Some people never learn.

Despite the online buzz over people getting fined for public urination, another man was caught on video trying to take a leak at Jalan Besar.

A Stomper shared with Stomp CCTV footage showing a man rushing to apparently pee in an alley on Jan 31 at about 7.30pm.

In the video, the man is seen jogging over to a covered drain at the side of the alley.

However, just as he appears to start relieving himself, he quickly turns around and runs off.

A lady is seen appearing on the other side of the alley gesturing at him in disbelief.

"Some males still want to try and pee in public," said the Stomper.

"He was probably going somewhere where there is a toilet but still wanted to try and pee in public.

"Luckily, the auntie saw and shouted at him so he quickly ran off."

The Stomper shared a photo of the man captured on another CCTV standing outside the driver's side of a white BMW.

"Driving BMW some more," she said.

According to the National Evironment Agency (NEA), an average of 600 people were fined each year for urinating or defecating in public from 2020 to 2024.

Those found urinating or defecating in public will be fined $300.

If convicted in court, offenders can be fined up to $1,000.
