Bird poop narrowly misses Stomper's kopi at West Coast Food Centre
Bird droppings narrowly missed a diner's coffee at West Coast Food Centre on June 21.
Stomper Ang was drinking coffee at a table at about 3.40pm.
"Within minutes, I felt a splash on the table," said Ang.
"There was bird poop.
"I looked up, and there was a high ceiling with a bird directly above me."
A video taken by Ang shows the bird droppings on the table's edge.
The camera panned upwards to reveal the perpetrator: a black bird perched on the roof, with its backside pointing at the hawker centre's patrons.
"Will this bird menace ever be eliminated?" Ang asked.
"Do we need a Covid-19 type of pandemic caused by birds before this potential health threat is eliminated?"
At least the poop did not land inside his coffee.
