Lovebird missing in Hougang believed to be in someone's home: 'But that person doesn't know we're searching for Yaya'
A lovebird has been missing since May 27 and its owner believes it is in someone's home.
Stomper Anonoymous said Yaya the lovebird was last seen at Block 565 Hougang Street 51 flying towards Hougang Green condominium.
"This lovebird is actually a free-flight trained bird that we normally bring to the playground for free flight. That also means it is recallable," said the Stomper.
"But on the day it went missing, it happened in a split second. We guess it was chased by crows, lost its sense of direction and couldn't find its way home."
The search went on for days. Hundreds of posters and flyers were printed.

"We've combed a radius of about 500m, pasting posters and giving flyers everywhere," said the Stomper.
"It's a habit of Yaya to land on someone as it is very, very, very friendly with humans and never bites.
"Which is why we truly believe it is already in someone's home, but that person doesn't know we are searching for Yaya."
