Bedok shop seeking uncle who went to ATM to withdraw $80 for repair job -- and never came back
A phone shop in Bedok is looking for a man who allegedly owes $80 for a repair job.
Stomper J declined to share the shop's exact location but said the incident occurred on Sept 3, at around 7.54pm.
J, who works the shop, recounted: "He came to the shop to repair his LCD screen, pretended that he had to go to the ATM to withdraw money, then went MIA.
"We initially did not make a police report because he is an uncle."
However, a police report was lodged the following day.
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodged.
J added: "We have the CCTV footage. If anyone knows this uncle, please ask him to come down and pay the outstanding bill. I'm just a worker."
