Bamboo pole hanging dangerously from 13th floor of Woodlands block safely removed: Town council

A bamboo pole hanging precariously from the topmost floor of Block 108 Woodlands Street 13 has since been safely removed.

This comes after Stomper Koh shared photos of the concerning sight on Aug 17 and 18. The block has 13 floors.

Koh said: "I wonder how they are going to remove the dangerous bamboo pole."

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesperson for Marsiling-Yew Tee Town Council said on Aug 22: "The bamboo pole has since been safely removed.

"Residents are encouraged to approach the town council for urgent assistance when needed. As a safety precaution, we also remind residents to ensure that bamboo poles are properly and securely placed to prevent any safety risks."
