Aunty on bicycle yells vulgarities, purposely backs into pedestrian in altercation outside Jurong Point
A woman on a bicycle was caught on camera using vulgarities in an altercation with a pedestrian at a traffic junction outside Jurong Point.
Several Stompers alerted Stomp to a 33-second video of the argument posted online by Singapore Incidents on Aug 26.
According to the post, the incident took place at 6am.
"This aunt screaming and yelling, cycling at a fast speed across the pedestrian pathway below the HDB. She knocked me down and shouted at me loudly," said the post.
"She even used her bicycle to run across my legs rudely.
"I told her to stop while I called for police assistance. She still rode off towards the direction of Jurong Point. Some passer-by told me that she's working in one of the F&B outlets in Jurong Point.
"It caused me to fall, and have bruises and some injury."
The post was credited to Adetitudeme Ida.
The video does not show whom the woman was arguing with.
Speaking in Hokkien, a voice called her a crazy woman.
She turned around and scolded the person in Mandarin: "You go and die."
The woman rang the bell on her bicycle and ranted about having to go to work and her bell being so loud, but people still didn't give way.
An unseen person can be heard letting out a cry.
After getting off her bike, the woman lifted it and banged it down on the ground in a threatening manner in front of the person taking the video.
She then walked backwards and purposely bumped into the video-taker, who can be heard grunting in pain before the video ends.
One netizen commented on Instagram: "Aiyoh auntie so rude ah!! Like gangster lol."
