At least 9 smokers unite outside City Hall MRT Station despite 'no-smoking' sign
At least nine smokers were found to be smoking outside City Hall MRT station despite a 'no-smoking' sign prominently displayed there.
A video which was submitted by an anonymous Stomper, shows several smokers who have taken to smoking outside the entrance to City Hall MRT station as it was raining.
They were also smoking in close proximity to a 'no-smoking' sign which states that offenders will be fined $1,000.
"They come from all walks of life, foreigners and locals, young and old, uniting in the single aim of destroying their lives through smoking," said the Stomper.
The Stomper added, "The entrance is right outside the lift lobby which is used by parents with babies in strollers, and elderly in wheelchairs.
"This is a hazard to the people who need clean air the most."
