Airbnb host and guest leave 15,000 coins on London pavement: Here's how passers-by reacted
Airbnb host Jamahl McMurran and his guest, Lana Mesic, decided to conduct a little social experiment when they found themselves with 15,000 coins.
According to Bored Panda, Lana is a Croatian artist and photographer, and had gotten the coins from a previous art installation.
Instead of bringing the heavy load back home, the two decided to leave the coins out in a heap on the ground, near a canal in London.
Jamahl then live-tweeted the entire experiment and shared how passers-by reacted to their unexpected wealth.
While some people helped themselves to the spare change, others deemed taking a picture of the unusual sight more important.
Unfortunately, it appeared that some serious-looking authorities showed up and cleared away the mess after some time.
