74-year-old passenger dies after M'sian car crashes into Yishun walkway, elderly driver taken to hospital

A 74-year-old woman died in the hospital after the car she was in crashed into a Yishun walkway on June 1.
The unconscious 76-year-old male car driver was also taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Photos of the accident's aftermath posted online showed the Malaysia-registered black Perodua Bezza with the left side of its bonnet crushed by the impact.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 3.45pm.
The car is believed to have "self-skidded" along Yishun Street 81, resulting in the crash.
Police investigations are ongoing.
