7 people hurt after accident involving bus, 2 vans and 3 cars in Kovan

Seven people were hurt after an accident involving a bus, two vans and three cars in Kovan on Oct 24.

Stomper Marco shared a video of the accident's aftermath taken from a passing bus.

Other videos were also posted online.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident at about 4.35pm.

Five people were conscious when taken to the hospital. They were:

• a male bus driver, 57
• a male van driver, 47
• his female passenger, 33
• two male car drivers, 29 and 66

A 48-year-old male van driver and a 31-year-old male car driver sustained minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
