Woman, 67, arrested for vandalism after graffiti found on walls at Bedok South HDB blocks

A 67-year-old woman has been arrested for her suspected involvement in a case of vandalism.

The police said in a statement on Thursday evening (Feb 20) that they received a report on Tuesday (Feb 18) at about 11.40pm that graffiti was found on the walls of two HDB blocks along Bedok South Avenue 1.

Officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the woman and arrested her on Thursday (Feb 20).

Police investigations are ongoing 

Anyone found guilty of vandalism may face a jail term of up to three years, a fine of up to $2,000, and may also receive a maximum of eight strokes of the cane.
