59-year-old man taken to hospital after accident involving 2 lorries on SLE

A 59-year-old lorry driver was taken to hospital after an accident involving two lorries along the Seletar Expressway (SLE) towards the Tampines Expressway (TPE) on Friday afternoon (July 23).

Stomper Lim alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video he took as he was passing by the accident scene.

"The small lorry's front was damaged very badly and a trolley had fallen onto the road," he said.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident after Lentor Avenue exit at 12.21pm.

"A 59-year-old male lorry driver was conscious when conveyed to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
