49-year-old man arrested for performing 'obscene act' near woman at Bedok North Street 3

A 49-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (April 3) for his suspected involvement in a case of obscene act that occurred at Bedok North Street 3.
The police said they received a report on Monday (April 1), at 6.57pm, about an unknown man who performed an obscene act near a female victim.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, the police subsequently arrested the man along Macpherson Road.
The man will be charged in court on Friday (April 5) with the offence of committing an obscene act in a public place.
If convicted, he may be punished with a jail term of up to three months and/or a fine.
