48-year-old woman pronounced dead at foot of Woodlands block, chair found in stairwell

A 48-year-old woman was pronounced dead after she was found motionless at the foot of a Woodlands block on the morning of Nov 2.

A Stomper shared photos of police and an ambulance at the scene. A blue police tent can be seen near the void deck, and the area was cordoned off.

A photo of a chair in a stairwell was shared in the neighbourhood WhatsApp group, said the Stomper.

In response to Stomp queries, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance at 625A Woodlands Drive 52 at about 10.25am.

The woman was pronounced dead by an SCDF paramedic.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police said they do not suspect foul play.

Police investigations are ongoing.
