Four households have been given a final warning to remove their personal items from the common areas of Block 3 Ghim Moh Road, said Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council.

Stomper Ang said there is clutter on multiple floors of the block and they have been dealt with - except on Level 4, where the situation remains unchanged.

He shared photos showing numerous potted plants along the corridor and a metal rack stacked with boxes at the lift lobby.

Ang told Stomp: "There are many huge potted plants, shelves and structures here.

"I have made several complaints since Jan 2025 and have also spoken to the town council's estate manager, but there is no action to clear the unsightly clutter yet."

The Stomper claimed that "nothing was done" on the fourth floor despite an April 4 notice that was put up, requesting the items to be cleared by April 9.

Ang added: "It's as if these few residents on the fourth floor feel entitled to the space!"

In response to a Stomp query, Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council said it engaged and issued advisory notices to four households in April 2025 regarding obstruction caused by potted plants and personal items along the common corridor.

A spokeswoman said: "During a follow-up inspection on April 30, we re-engaged the same four residents. They informed us that they require additional time to relocate their potted plants and personal items from the common areas.

"In view of this, a final advisory notice has been issued, requesting that the items be removed by May 11 . This notice serves as a final warning.

"Separately, we successfully engaged an elderly resident to spruce up the common corridor space, and the white rack previously placed near the lift lobby was removed on May 1.

"The town council takes a serious view of corridor obstructions, as they compromise public safety and hinder accessibility for all residents."
