3 youths caught fishing at Jubilee Bridge despite 'no fishing' sign
Three youths were spotted fishing at Jubilee Bridge late at night on May 30.
Stomper Kayne alerted Stomp to the incident, which he said occurred at about 11pm.
The Jubilee Bridge, located near the iconic Merlion Park, has clear signage indicating the prohibition of fishing.
Kayne said: "They just ignored the signage. Nowadays, youngsters don't care about the law."
According to national water agency PUB, fishing is only permitted in designated areas. Those caught violating fishing regulations can face a fine of up to $3,000.
